Step 1: Nourishing Hair Oil Massage (Most Important Step)
This is not a big surprise for you. Oiling the hair has been considered the most efficient way to enrich the roots of your hair for ages. Washing your hair can strip the natural oil from your scalp, leaving it dry. This lead to hair fall and other hair-related problem. Oiling your hair adds a boost of moisture to the scalp and strengthens the hair follicles to promote hair growth. Remember to use 100% natural oils which are free from mineral oil.
Take your preferred hair oil section your hair and apply the warm oil directly to your roots using a Deep Root Applicator.
Avoid combing through your locks immediately after applying oil as it could lead to hair loss and breakage. If you want to get rid of knots, then start from the tips and slowly work your way to the top.
Step 2: Time for Cleansing with Shampoo
Before you apply the shampoo to your hair, dilute the shampoo by adding some water to it in a container. Putting the shampoo directly on the scalp increases the chances of hair breakage. Diluting it cushions the effect of the shampoo, helping your hair grow faster.
For Better Results use Sulphate & Paraben Free Shampoos as they are mild and prevent the build-up of harmful chemicals.
Step 3: Scrubbing Your Scalp
Scrubbing the scalp improves blood circulation and stimulates hair follicles reactivating them and improving hair growth. As you foam your shampoo, use your fingertips to give a massage to your scalp. After you have scrubbed your hair for a good couple of minutes, wash it off thoroughly.
Step 4: Use LukeWarm Water for Washing
Always use lukewarm water to wash your hair not too cold or not too hot. Hot water might seem relaxing but it strips the natural coating of hair leaving it dry and vulnerable.
Step 5: Smoothen out your hair using Conditioner
Conditioner makes your hair soft and smooth. It forms a protective layer to prevent hair damage. Please note, NEVER, apply the conditioner on the scalp. Conditioner should always apply to the length of the hair i.e from the middle of your hair to the ends. Leave it on for 2-3 minutes before rinsing it off.
The use of the Conditioner will minimize the use of silicones and parabens.
Once all steps are done, be gentle in squeezing out extra water. Do not rub the towel vigorously on the hair. The friction created by such harsh rubbing weakens the hair roots and makes your hair prone to damage and hair fall. Instead, use a soft towel to squeeze the excess water out of your hair and let it dry.
